Restoring an Historic Bridge

August 17, 2010

FEMA’s Enviornmental and Historical Preservation team supports recovery and mitigation in places of historic or envionmental significance. This video highlights the restoration of an historic 72-year old bridge in Redwood Falls, MN damaged by the floods of 2010.

We are working with Redwood County to update their All-Hazards Mitigation Plan.  We are trying to look more closely at historical structures in the update process.
